Engaging and Educating Communities through Fisheries
Mandolay Hotel, Guildford
November 8th – 9th, 2022
This year’s IFM Annual Conference will be hosted by the Greater London and South East Branch and will follow on from last year’s event in Southampton where the theme was Future Challenges
This year we will be focusing on how the fisheries sector can develop skills and increase engagement not only within the sector, but also between stakeholders and more widely across society to benefit fishers, communities and the environment.
The conference will bring together speakers from across the UK, Ireland and further afield for two days of presentations, posters, field trips and networking opportunities.
The organising committee would welcome submissions from people working in the following areas:
All abstracts should include the following information in this order:
The Steering Group will review all submissions and will aim to ensure a good balance of topics and geographic areas. If requests for oral presentations are oversubscribed a poster presentation may be offered instead.
All submissions and enquiries should be sent directly to the conference administrator at [email protected]
Please note that speakers will still be required to register as a delegate for the conference.
Closing date for submission: 26th August
