The Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust is looking for a highly motivated person to lead the acoustic tracking component of our new EU Interreg project SAlmonid MAnagement Round the CHannel (SAMARCH). Advances in acoustic tracking have led to an increased interest in this area, generating new knowledge on behaviour and survival of salmonids in coastal waters. SAMARCH will build on existing high-quality data collected on salmonid populations from four ICES index rivers, two English and two French, and extend the research from freshwater into the English Channel.
