Yeovil Fisheries Management Course

Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th December 2025

Our next FREE two day Fisheries Management Course in partnership with the EA will take place in Yeovil on the 6-7 December.

The course will look at all aspects of fisheries management including providing new habitat, stocking, predator control, fish health and welfare, water quality and much more.

The course will aim to help you:

• Boost your stilllwater fisheries through greater awareness of issues and how to identify them

• Understand practical fishery management techniques

This course has been developed by the Environment Agency and the Institute of Fisheries Management (IFM).

We are able to offer local clubs up to 2 places completely free of charge, this will include all teaching resources and a certificate of attendance.

Tea and Coffee will be available on arrival and throughout the 2 days, however, attendees will need to supply their own lunch. Timings are approximately 9am until 4.30pm each day.

The cost to develop, and run, this course comes from income received from anglers buying a rod licence, therefore it is in all our interests to ensure this money is not wasted. We also want you to get the best possible outcome for your club so would suggest the people attending are committed to the club and its future success.
