This online workshop is organised by the Institute of Fisheries Management in partnership with the Environment Agency and is funded by rod licence income.
Building on several years of joint in-person and virtual events, the IFM and Environment Agency continue to work together to share knowledge and practical experience across the fisheries sector.
The workshop brings together a series of applied sessions focused on the future challenges for freshwater fishery management. Topics include developing more sustainable fisheries, preparing waters for long-term environmental change, and improving the resilience of our rivers. Participants will also hear how technology is being used to support water quality and fish health, alongside real-world examples of incident response within the Environment Agency.
