Nick Butterfield is the Fishery Manager at Windermere, Ambleside and District Angling Association (WADAA).

His talk will discuss some of the innovative solutions he has helped to design and implement at waters across South Cumbria. Nick and the team at WADAA have added solar aerators, venturi systems and remote sensing systems to improve the water quality and fish health. They have really embraced new technology and it has helped their fisheries and membership to blossom.

Nick will cover

  • Remote water quality monitoring
  • Integrated solutions for aeration (mains powered, generator powered and solar powered).
  • Bore-hole solutions
  • Remote and automatic operation

In 2022 they were voted the Angling Club of the Year by the Angling Times
