IFM Scotland Branch AGM and Online Talk

5th May 19:00 - 20:30

Join the IFM Scotland Branch for their Annual General Meeting, followed by an engaging online talk from James Macarthur of the University of the Highlands and Islands.

James is currently undertaking a PhD exploring the interactions between beavers and salmon in Scotland. His talk, “Integrating molecular and traditional techniques to investigate the effects of beavers on migratory fish in Scotland”, will offer a clear and insightful look into this emerging area of research, combining modern scientific methods with established field approaches.

The AGM will provide an update on branch activities, and the talk that follows is open to anyone with an interest in fisheries, conservation, or freshwater science. You do not need to be a member of the Institute of Fisheries Management to attend.

All are welcome.
