Protecting our aquatic environment for future generations
Register nowDue to ongoing COVID restrictions, our annual conference will be a virtual event.
Locally – nationally – globally – our salmon and freshwater fish face unprecedented environmental challenges. The climate and biodiversity crises are having an enormous impact and we need to act with urgency to protect our precious natural environment. The Fisheries Management Scotland 2021 conference will bring together a diverse range of contributors to outline the nature of the challenges we are facing and how these can be addressed, through local and national collaborative action.
The programme will be published shortly, but presentations will focus on efforts to address and mitigate for the multiple impacts facing our salmon and freshwater fish, including the climate and biodiversity crises. Collaborate efforts to save our wild salmon through the Missing Salmon Alliance will also be explored in the lead up to COP-26 in Glasgow in November 2021.
