Dominic Martyn (EA) will give a presentation on World Rivers Day, being celebrated by local Rivers and Wetlands Community Days programmes, providing practical opportunities for people to improve their local environment and managing flood risk.  Dominic will share current news of events from this exciting new programme and ask for views on future opportunities around London and the south east. 

Toni Scarr (Department of Energy & Climate Change)  will be reflecting on the achievements of the international scale RESTORE project which was designed to encourage the restoration of rivers across European towards a more natural state for increased ecological quality, flood risk reduction, and social and economic benefits.
