The temperature and biochemistry of aquatic ecosystems are changing due to anthropogenic climate change. This symposium will bring together scientists from across Europe to discuss how fishes are responding to these changes in terms of their individual metabolism and behaviour, and the consequences this could have for their population and community dynamics. We will bring together researchers from different fields – ecology, evolution, behaviour and aquaculture – to help understand the threats fishes of the future face, and how they might respond from a conservation, fishing and fish–farming perspective.

Speakers include:

  • Dr Shaun Killen (Univerisity of Glasgow)
  • Dr Katja Anttila (University of Turka)
  • Dr Eoin O’Gorman (Imperial College London)

Tea, coffee and lunch is included in the ticket price.
