Branch Events

You are cordially invited by the IFM Greater London & SE Branch to come to their annual eclectic collection of fascinating presentations from King’s College and other University of London postgraduate students. These presentations always offer an evening of wide interest and discussion. The programme is stlll being finalized [WATCH OUT FOR FURTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS IN THE NEAR FUTURE!!] but currently they plan to include the following topics;-

  • Okavango Delta – Kieran Luton (MSc)
  • Coral Conservation – Athena Downes: (MSc)
  • Geomorphology of connections – Eleanor Heasley (PhD)
  • Urban ecology of Thames tributaries – Anna Lavelle (PhD)

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT ARRANGEMENTS AT KING’S COLLEGE

The presentations will be held as normal in the Pyramid Room, Department of Geography, 4th Floor, King’s Building, King’s College LondonStrand. However due to changes in security and catering at the College;-

  • Visitors are now required to sign in at the Main Entrance – you will need to tell Security staff that you are attending the IFM Meeting in the Pyramid Room hosted by Dr Michael Chadwick, Geography
  • the Branch is unfortunately no longer able to offer drinks and nibbles before the meeting
