This workshop has been run by the IFM for a number of years and features international fish taxonomic leads for the identification of fish species encountered within the estuarine and coastal waters of the UK. It will provide the opportunity for hands-on fish identification, with delegates supported through a range of skills gained in decades of field monitoring experience. The course is fully accredited by the Institute of Fisheries Management and participants will be assessed on their taxonomic skills, with successful delegates being awarded the IFM Certificate for Estuarine & Marine Fish Taxonomy. The course is supported by Dr Peter Henderson of Pisces Conservation For further details please contact Paul Coulson on [email protected] and for technical content of the course please contact Steve Colclough on [email protected] 01634 327899
