Following the success of the first workshop in 2014, the IFM will be holding a second event in Edinburgh.

This will be the second workshop dedicated to fish tagging and telemetry that the IFM has held. The first event was at the Royal Armouries, Leeds in summer 2014. This time we have travelled a bit further north to Scotland and will be in the grand surroundings of the St Leonards Hall, at the University of Edinburgh, on June 7th and 8th. We have put together a diverse programme featuring speakers from across the UK and Europe, who will be covering a range of projects in both the freshwater and marine fields. Species highlighted range from lamprey to sea bream and salmon to sharks. A draft programme can be downloaded here . The final version will be ready soon. Alongside the formal presentations there will also be a technology room which will see the leading tagging and monitoring companies showcase their latest equipment. Confirmed so far are.
