This is a top day theory and practical session for IFM Certificate Students.
A two day course that has both theory and practical sessions. This course is only available to those enroled on the IFM Certifiate Course. If you would like to enrol on the course please go back to the home page. The course is lead by Ian Wellby and Paul Coulson of the IFM Training Team and is a great opportunity to back up your knowledge with some valuable practical skills. The format for the weekend is as follows Saturday  Session 1 – Freshwater Biology Session 2 – Water quality Session 3 – Monitoring Session 4 - Q&A with tutors Session 5 – Practical Demonstration 1 (netting)   Sunday Session 6 – Angling & Recreation  Session 7 – Habitat Management  Session 8 – Predation Management  Session 9 -  Q&A with tutors. Session 10 -  Practical Demonstration 2 (electric fishing)    All learning materials are provided but students must bring their own waders and waterproofs as well as lunch.
